I specialise in supporting oral and written language learning difficulties - OWL.
My approach is:
I have experience in successfully supporting children with a range of ALN's, including:,
I believe self-esteem, and resilience are fundamental to developing life-long learners with portable skills. Often these are areas that are crushed for children with ALN's. We can make a difference if we tackle affective responses while also addressing necessary skills, knowledge and strategies. Students who feel safe and happy will be more successful learners.
I have lived and worked both internationally, and in the UK. I have a global perspective and value our differences as well as our similarities. I have been lucky enough to travel to many interesting places and have grown to understand that everything is relative, and everyone is related by humanity. Some of the places I have been to include Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Cambodia, China, Egypt, India, Jamaica, Jordan, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, North Korea, South Africa, South Korea, USA, and Vietnam.
